This month we’re buzzing about bees!  California has more native bee species than some countries!  We bet you usually think of bees as those busy little honey makers that live in hives, but what if we told you that most of our bees don’t live in hives or make honey?  Join us for bee info, bee games, and bee crafts on this beeeee-utiful day in January!

Citizen Science Initiative
January 19, 2018 | All Day | Ameal Moore Nature Center | Free | Family Friendly
The Ameal Moore Nature Center is a hub for Citizen Science!  We love helping citizens understand that they can help contribute to science and regularly help visitors join Citizen Science projects.  Sometimes it can be as easy as taking a picture!  Starting this year, we’re launching our C.S.I. (Citizen Science Initiative) days.  Every 3rd Saturday of the month, we’ll be specifically focusing on a Citizen Science Project and will be teaching visitors how they can get involved!  Join us and get your science on!
